3.5.2 Revealed preferences: Hedonic pricing

Hedonic pricing uses information about how much people pay for houses or other directly-purchased items with specific environmental attributes (e.g., visibility, proximity to amenities or disamenities) to infer how much they value changes in those attributes.

  • Type of measured value: Residential use value.
